once you input the codes, are they immediately playable? do i have to do something else to activate them?

yes and no.if it is a character cheat
you dont need to activate them.if its
an extra you need to activate it by pressing start and going into extras

hmm…check dexters shop in characters section if it doesn’t show up then try to enter it again.also try the free play option
it will be the only way to play any character.
