The NEWER versions of the Xbox are made with a smaller CPU (65nm) which does cut down on the heat. THe problem is, that the real problem is in the GPU. The new GPU versions from what I know aren’t going to be coming out until Aug 2008. Thats when people hope that it doesn’t over heat anymore, but who knows this is Microsoft we are talking about. If anything maybe they well spend more time on the next xbox. (and maybe push that one out to production).

Buy a cheap $10 Laptop Cooling pad from Newegg.com and it will keep your 360 cool on 90 degree days.
